Project Spotlight: A Harmonious Blend of Custom Elegance and Modern Warmth
At Mora Interior Design, every space we design tells a story—and this one speaks of balance, intention, and refined comfort.
This dining table was brought to life with a strong emphasis on clean lines, natural materials, and thoughtful customization. From the moment you walk in, your eye is drawn to the striking custom wall paneling—a tailored detail that adds quiet sophistication while grounding the room with architectural interest. Painted in a soft neutral tone, the panels subtly frame the space without overwhelming it, letting the furniture and lighting truly shine.
One of the standout features is the custom drapery, designed specifically to complement the scale and openness of the large, black-framed windows. The soft, sheer fabric allows natural light to pour in while offering a sense of airiness and privacy. Each panel was custom measured and sewn to perfectly skim the floor, adding elegance and softness to the overall aesthetic.
The modern chandelier is a statement piece in itself—its sculptural form and brushed gold finish give a nod to contemporary luxury, while its warm glow enhances the inviting ambiance of the dining area. We chose this fixture not just for its visual impact, but because it brings a dynamic geometry that pairs beautifully with the oval-shaped, dark wood dining table below.
Surrounding the table are custom leather dining chairs in natural wood and cream fabric. The curved arms offer comfort and approachability, softening the space and contrasting nicely with the table’s sleek profile. At the center, a small bonsai-style plant anchors the room with a natural focal point, adding organic texture and a sense of life to the ensemble.
Every detail in this room—from the handcrafted drapes to the thoughtfully layered finishes—was chosen with intention. It’s a space that feels both curated and lived in, modern yet timeless.
